I finally got a copy of Corel Painter 8. I must say... IT'S SOOO COOL!!! I've always used Adobe Illustrator but after reading about Corel's Painter 8, I knew I had to check it out. The Wacom site showed some Painter tips and I must admit, it got me interested. I just installed Painter and so far, I like what I see! I just like that it has so many brushes and paper textures to choose from. This is just so cool! I can't wait to try out the other cool stuff it can do.

I'm loving my new Graphire 2 tablet! I'm so glad I got it (even though Graphire 3 is about to be launched). At first I was hesistant since the work area is a bit smaller than my old tablet but it's cool. I've gotten used to it already. I'm currently obssessing over Corel Painter 8. I've read a lot of good reviews about it and I can't wait to get my hands on it. I've been having quite a hard time trying to find it though. Oh well...
I'm thinking of putting up a new subsection but I can't seem to think of a nice layout.
Oh! It's almost October! Yahoo!!! Why am I so excited? Well, you'll soon find out!

My pen was acting up yesterday which caused me much panic and stress. I don't know what is wrong with it. It just went crazy! Anyway, I got a new tablet now. I got a Wacom Graphite 2. It looks nice and works well but I still have to get used to it. My old pen was really cool and convenient. Unlike the Wacom pen, it can scroll pages like those mouse wheel thingies. I miss my old pen but I guess I must move on. *sob sob* Don't get me wrong though. Wacom tablets are the best. I guess I just got too attached with my old one. Oh well...
Besides my new tablet, I also bought a webcam. It's no biggie. Just the simple, low tech one. I think it would be cool to have it. You know, to chat with friends. My next project is to probably get a new scanner. My scanner sucks! It only runs on old versions of Windows. I can't seem to get any driver updates so it's pretty useless. Well, unless I hook it up to my ancient laptop that weighs like a ton. Hahaha!
So what have I been up to? Nothing much. Same old same old...
