I was busy making campaign posters for my brother last night. He's running for class vice president. We made some Harry Potter inspired posters for him. We thought it would be cool. My brother is not a Harry Potter fanatic. As a matter of fact, he dislikes him. Not that he has anything against the bloke. It's just that a lot of people think he looks kind of like Harry, which irritates him a lot. I just hope he wins. The posters will surely be a hit! Hehe!
I watched Black Hawk Down again, one of the perks of having a dad who collects dvds. It's cool cause then I get to concentrate on Eric's parts. The first time I saw BHD was in the cinema and I wasn't aware of Eric back then. The role is so right for him. I almost can't believe he used to be a sketch comic.

I saw this film, Dinner With Friends, on HBO the other day. It starred Dennis Quaid and Andie MacDowell. It’s quite interesting. It’s about a married couple whose best friends are going through divorce. The whole thing revolved around the divorce and how it affected their friends and their own marriage. It didn’t have much action or anything. Some may even find it boring but I found the dialogue really good. They were talking about things that you really could relate to which I found engaging despite the lack of “excitement”. It was not far-fetched or completely alien.
Harry Potter news. After 2 days, I’m now in Chapter 11. I know it’s nothing monumental but for a non-bookworm, I think I did pretty well. Hehehe! I have to say, it really is interesting. I know I’m still in the first part but so far, it’s already exciting. Not a dull moment. I did some calculating and I reckon I’ll be done reading it in 8 days or so, if all goes well.

I just got a copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. At first sight, the book looks daunting to read. The spine is a good 2 inches thick, quite scary for a non-bookworm like myself. I got the book as a present and I feel compelled to read it. It would be such a waste not to when other people are waiting in line to get a copy. Plus, it's quite pricey. It's probably going to take me 2 weeks to finish it. I'm not really a Harry Potter fanatic. He's cool but I haven't read all the books. In fact, I've read only the second book from the series. I guess it's because I really don't like reading much. It strains my eyes. I must say though, it's quite engaging. I'm only in Chapter 3 but I'll write more when I'm done reading it. I just hope it won't take me forever. Haha! Anyway, I just subscribed to an Eric Bana mailing list. They were talking about Eric's bum and it got me thinking... I should go watch Hulk again. *grin*

I just read a review about The Hulk and it was really funny. There was this part that goes... "One can safely predict that the girls will like Eric Bana, who plays Bruce Banner. He's just the kind of withdrawn, vulnerable cutie young women love." Oh, I second that! Hehehe! The movie did drag a bit but Eric made it more "acceptable". I've been hearing that the movie's been getting really bad reviews, that it failed to "take off". Well, I'm no expert but I think the cgi was cool. It's good to hear though that we'll be seeing more of Eric next year when his new movie, Troy, comes out. But I have to say, I'm not too keen about guys in skirts. Hehehe!

Anyway, I've seen the Hulk last tuesday. The premiere was great. Lots of free food and stuff. There were even some celebrities. The movie was ok, I guess. Some bits got me thinking though. Bits like his clothes not tearing up (Bruce should be naked after shrinking back, at least I think so! Hehe!), the Hulk jumping that high, etc. But it was ok. If you like Eric Bana, then this film should be more than ok. Hehehe!
